About EV
Founded in 1989 as Virginians for Justice, Equality Virginia is a statewide, non-partisan education, outreach and advocacy organization seeking equality for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Virginians.
Equality Virginia is comprised of three separate organizations that work together to accomplish EV's mission and move Virginia toward EV's mission and vision.
Equality Virginia
EV, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is tasked with providing the research and educational foundation for EV's advocacy and to provide legal analysis and education on issues affecting GLBT Virginians. Make a tax-deductible gift to EV.
Equality Virginia Advocates
A 501(c)(4) organization, EVAdvocates strives to be the premier organization for GLBT Virginians advancing a legislative and public policy agenda that will move Virginia toward EV's vision. Click here to learn more about what is happening in the General Assembly, and how you can get involved.
