Adam Ebbin

Adam became the first openly gay member of the Virginia General Assembly when elected in 2003. He represents the House District 49 and serves on the Education, Transportation, and Health, Welfare, and Institutions committees. He was a founder of the Virginia Partisans Gay and Lesbian Democratic Club in the early 1990s, and also served in Governor Warner's administration as the Chief Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Industry.
