We want to make sure everyone has access to the information and resources available at our statewide TIES (Transgender Information and Empowerment Summit), no matter where you live in Virginia. In the summer of 2019, we will bring TIES Pop-Ups to three locations across the state: Norfolk, Fairfax and Staunton.

These events are much smaller versions of our statewide conference, but will still include …

–trans-affirming mental health & medical consultations

–name & gender marker change clinic

–employment readiness training

–how-to-tell-your-story advocacy workshop

–community organizations & resources

Transgender and gender diverse individuals, partners, parents, youth, and allies are welcome to attend. Below are event and registration details for each of the three TIES Pop-Ups. We hope to see you there!

Special thanks to all of our co-host organizations who are working by and for trans people in each of these communities. They are doing important and life-saving work every single day, and without them, these TIES Pop-Ups would not be possible.

We’d also like to thank our wonderful Community Voices who are helping to spread the word about these events. To learn more about becoming a Community Voice for the TIES Pop-Up in your area, please contact [email protected]
